Supply chain management is the management of the flow of goods and information from their source to where they are being used. Supply chain covers pre- and post-manufacture, known as “upstream” and “downstream”. It is the sequence in which everything reaches its end user.

Supply chain management is critical to organisations today, encompassing logistics operations, commercial operations, business support and much more, to ensure that customers are always satisfied.
